On February 16, 2013 Mr. Chase (Charles) Sandred went home to be with the Lord.  Charles was born in Caruthersville, Missouri on July 9, 1942 to the late Willie & Majellis Sandred.  Chase was blessed with a wonderful wife, Mrs. Dorothy L. Sandred and three children. Carla Luttrell of Lansing, Michigan, Charles (Tina) Sanders, Jr. of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Joy Danielle Sanders of Charleston, South Carolina.  He also showered with love his two step-children.  Sylvester Washington of Charleston, South Carolina and Denise (David) Fleming of Goose Creek, South Carolina.

 Chase worked various occupations and most recently dedicated his skills to the transportation industry and worked for Mt. Pleasant Shuttle for the past nine years.  Chase displayed a positive & cheerful attitude that helped him excel by impressing his clients just by doing his best every day.  Chase was a compassionate man and would lend a hand to anyone he could.  He made it known that his blessings were not only for his benefit, but to help his family any way he could; only expecting they do their best going forward.

Chase leaves wonderful memories to be cherished by his loved ones, including his wife, Dorothy, his children Carla, Charles, Jr. and Joy Danielle, his grand-children Reva Sanders, Ciara Sanders, Charles D. Sanders, Damarcus D.  Conclous, Avuntae T. Sanders, Kamari L. Sanders, Donevan B. Sanders, and Dawayne C. Sanders. His brother Richard (Lucille) Sanders, Larry Sanders, and his sister Flora (Oblenis) Mabins-Gibson.  His late brothers Louis (Bernice) Sanders, Santee (Roxy) Sanders and James (Linda) Sanders; his late sister Helen Sanders.  Chase also leaves his favorite step-nephew Eddie (Michelle) Eaglespirit, a host of nieces and nephews, grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Visitation for Chase will take place on Friday, February 22 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services (7475 Peppermill Parkway Suite E, North Charleston SC 29418).  Funeral Services celebrating his life will follow at 1:00PM at the funeral home.

    Daddy Charles will be truly missed. May his soul rest in Heaven. I know his smile has put a light on Heaven and I thank God for the 40 years of my life as my Grandfather. Rest on Daddy Charles, love you and see you soon.

    Uncle Charles(Sanders) we miss you so much. All of the Sanders nieces and nephews mourn your passing. You are forever remembered for your joyous laughter, bright smile, and loving personality. I know in my heart you are resting in peace and I have accepted that no one on this earth can bring any harm to you, no matter the final decision. Daddy, Flo, and uncle Larry will forever carry your memories in their hearts. Rest in peace uncle Charles. The blood-born Sanders will LOVE AND MISS YOU FOR THE REST OF OUR LIVES.     Dad, was a true leader and everyone admired his wonderful abilities, and well of his determination and drive. He truly was one of our best and brightest.     I was sadden to hear of the passing of the guy I called Uncle Charles. I grew up with Shannon and I must say this is sad news to learn. I remember going to Uncle Charles and Aunt Lela and I would always hear him telling jokes and keeping Shannon out of trouble. May the Family find peace in knowing that Uncle Charles knew Jesus and is now relaxing in Heaven and singing a about that Praise he had on the inside..

    May the family of Uncle Charles find peace in this time of sorrow. I heard of his passing from a classmate. I too went to school with Shannon and I remember Uncle Charles dropping him off at school in the covertte. I aslo remember him owning the Pallet company by Hull school and Shannon got in trouble at school he would come and get him. Uncle Charles was a wonderful man, and I am sure he’s looking down with his hands wide open saying to : Danille, Carla, Debra, Craig, Pinto and Charles Jr. and saying it’s all good I hear in Heaven having a wonderful time and an awesome Reunion.     Wow, I was sadden to hear that Daddy Charles had passed, ( I grew up with Shannon in Napier Manor, and I called him Daddy Charles.). I remember my first time going fishing was with Daddy Charles and Ralph & Shannon. We had a wonderful time and so many memories of such a wonderful man. Daddy Charles, I loved you because you never knew it but you were the only male role model I had in my life and the way you treated your family and wife Aunt Lela, help set the standard for the man I am today. REST IN PEACE!

    Wow, Mr. Sanders, I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I pray over the families that was touched by a wonderful man and a special prayer for his children. I grew up with his grandchildren in Bus and I remember him so well. I always wanted a Vette, because he was the first person I ever saw driving one. Rest in peace Mr. Sanders.

    Rest in peace Mr. Sanders, I remember him from working with his Grandson in Benton Harbor at Mcdonalds whom would pick him up from work and drop me off so I did not have to work.
