Dianne A. Ackers-House, 51, passed away at her home in Summerville, South Carolina, on Thursday, December 20, 2012 after a brief illness. Dianne was born January 14, 1961, in Wrexham, North Wales. A determined, hard-working lady, she worked her way through college as an auto parts delivery person, which resulted in her receiving her Bachelor of Business Management degree from Highbury College in Cosham, England. A strong, loving, caring person, she was known for her kindness and generosity to animals, which led her to work for the International Primate Protective League at one point. Her outgoing, approachable nature made her a successful Direct Sales Representative for Time Warner Cable, her last employer. A dedicated and loving mother, Dianne is survived and dearly missed by her three children, Brittney Ackers, daughter, of Summerville, Marline House, Jr., son, of Summerville, Leon House, of Summerville, her parents, Pat and Alan Rawlinson of Portsmouth, England, Tracey Ackers, her sister, and one grandson, Liam Ackers. A memorial service will be held at the North Charleston Church of Christ, 8415 Patriot Boulevard, North Charleston, South Carolina on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 6 p.m.
