He was my dad and he was the best father a kid could ask for, but unfortunately we haven’t spoken in years. I’m sad and wish the circumstances were different. He would have been a terrific grandfather and I wish my children would have had the opportunity to know him. They would have loved him just like everyone who was lucky enough to know him.
I’ll skip the take the opportunity before it’s gone cliche…

Eddie was a good man and although we lost contact over the years, I will never forget him. He was a big part of my youth and gave me the most amazing brother & sisters. It’s difficult to know how to say goodbye to someone that mattered to you and your loved ones…especially when you don’t really have the chance to say goodbye. Thank you, Eddie, for all the generous things you did for me growing up. I always appreciated your generous acts & heart. You will be missed! God bless you! Rest in peace….and goodbye for now.

Eddie was my Brother, and unfortunately, there are no words to describe the loss I feel. You were more than a Brother to me, and I looked up to you in many ways. I thought of you often, and wished things could have been different. I will always remember what a big part you played in my childhood, and the sweet memories you helped create. In my mind, I see your smile….. peace be with you, and please take care of Mom. Denise Earl, your Sister (aka) “Little Girl”.
