Henry Forsberg Welborn entered into eternal rest early in the morning on February 6th, 2014.  “Hank” was one of the kindest souls one could meet, and truly had a heart of gold. Hank was down to earth and had a very likable personality. He was born in Charleston to William Acie and Margaret Forsberg Welborn on October 10th, 1951.  Hank was raised in the middle of eight children, seven boys and one girl. He graduated from Bishop England High School and attended Spartanburg Junior College. Hank’s career path followed in his father’s footsteps and he enjoyed success estimating and supplying steel for the construction of many local buildings and bridges. Hank loved sports and was also known for his charities. One of his favorites was half rubber. Hank and a few friends started a half rubber tournament before the summer season to raise money benefitting the children of Camp Good Times. One of the most precious aspects that we all shall cherish is Hank’s unconditional love for his family. Hank is survived by his beloved wife of tewnty- five years Pamela Welborn.
