  • To my bodyguard and partner in “crime” I’m going to miss you terribly, I’m going to miss calling you, you were who’d I’d call to vent to, telling you in my sailor voice what was wrong and by the end I’d feel better and we’d have plans to do something together, your smile is famous, I’ll miss making you laugh, being able to say “Jaime did it”, you trying to keep me straight (trying), talking you into things like mechanical bull riding, cruises, the gym, mexican after the gym, home “improvement” projects, your first 5k we did together last year, celebrating you quitting smoking, cutting up in class, rabbit rabbit, werq, turkey shoots, you always calling my phone for me when I lost it, waking ben when you came to meet him as a baby and then realizing that was the worst idea, riding in the back of police cars…voluntarily for fun since they were your friends :), riding around moncks corner way back when, hearing about your patients, you taking Ben’s picture over and over at a restaurant because when he’d see the flash he’d stop crying, you playing with the kids on the beach and giving their moms a break, we have so many great memories, I’m so glad to have known you, I’ll miss you forever <3
