Larry, I knew this day was coming just didn’t know it was gonna be this soon. Was not ready for the shock of the news. I can remember all the times with you burning up the roads in Dorchester area and the many conversation that we have had, going paintballing and fishing with you and your boys. You were like a brother to me. I am sadden that I didn’t get to say goodbye. But, I am glad you are no longer in pain. But brother you will be missed dearly by me and many others, RIP brother. Joshua and Jordan, I’m sure this is hard and difficult and my thoughts are with you, if there’s anything I can help you with I’m here for you.

  • I lost my best friend and only brother yesterday. I will miss him physically everyday, but he will be in my heart forever. I am so proud of him and all that he accomplished. I treasure the time I spent with him earlier this year working on his pickup together. I did not realize that when I hugged him just before he left to go back to South Carolina, that it would be for the last time. I miss him so much, but I am thankful that the good LORD took him home. He is no longer in pain and I am grateful for that.

Even after all he had been through for the past 4 years, he was still a loving father and devoted husband. He is and will remain my personal HERO. RIP little brother, I will see you some day, hold a place for me. I love you Larry and will miss you until I see you in heaven. Keep a watch over us Larry. You are gone, but you will never be forgotten, you touched too many lives to ever be forgotten.

I love you very very much.

    Good Bye Larry.

    • To fix the oversight, my brother is survived by his mother Lorraine Gibson Herrington, his wife Angie Richards, and their 2 sons, Joshua & Jordan Richards, also a son Larry Dale Richards Jr., and a daughter Rachel Richards by his first wife, Glenda, who also survives him and of course myself Gregory Richards.

So many memories not only at work but outside of work the good old days of you & the boys meeting at my house for a friendly game of paintball in the woods with Craig; Cody; Christian; Darryl & Lonnie. Of course I was smart enough to stay at the house didn’t want to give you & Lonnie a reason to gang up on me for the week of paperwork griping. But your paperwork was mostly perfect except the backhaul delays. The ups & downs of life – you always were a good friend giving me advice and taking no sides just honest advice to help me understand why……..RIP you will always be remembered……….Your Family will be in my prayers.

You will be missed! I was hoping to see you when I came to my dads for thanksgiving .
But you didn’t make it , though I am glad I got to see you in June! I’m so glad you were apart of my life. You still are just not physically. You’re not suffering anymore and I had to quit crying about it because I have to realize you’re all better now ! I love you and you will be missed ! Rest in Paradise , Mr. Larry (:
