Robert Patrick “Pat” Stuckart LADSON – Surrounded by his wife and children, Robert Patrick “Pat” Stuckart, 64, lost his battle with cancer on the evening of July 9, 2012 at his home in Ladson. Pat was born on April 9, 1948 to Paul and Joan Stuckart. Being an Army “brat” instilled in him a love of adventure and life he shared with many people. He made many friends all around the globe and will be missed tremendously. Pat is survived by his wife Hettie Harris Stuckart, daughters Kathleen and Kerry and a son Patrick “PJ”. He is also survived by siblings Mike Stuckart of TX (fiance Leslie), Terry Stuckart of CT (Bonnie), Tim Stuckart of SC, Monica (Micki) Zorn (Frank) LA, and Andrea (Andy) Welb (Henry) LA. He was predeceased by one brother Danny Stuckart (Diane) of TX. There are also a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Pat was employed by Daniel Island Company as IT support. He always called it his dream job-surrounded by beautiful scenery, adoring ladies and the opportunity to express his two passions in life-love of computers and photography. He donated his body to Med Cure for research on this terrible disease-parotid gland cancer. There will be a Memorial Mass at 2 PM July 14, at Divine Redeemer Church 1106 Fort Dr. Hanahan In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to either of the two of his favorite charities in his memory: American Red Cross 8085 Rivers Ave Suite F North Charleston SC 29406 or Daniel Island Community Foundation, Inc., 130 River Landing Drive Suite 1C Charleston SC 29492. The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the staffs at CHOA Dr George Geils Jr., Charleston ENT Dr. Shaun Scott , Amedysis Hospice and especially the staffs at Roper and St Frances Hospitals. These folks gave him excellent care and assistance. He was treated as a personal friend each and every time.
