Obituary of James Keith Sims

James Keith Sims, 61, of North Charleston, SC, passed away Monday, March 19, 2018. He was a fabricator in the machinist industry. Memorial service will be held at Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services (281 Treeland Dr., Ladson) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23rd. Keith was born August 7, 1956, in Greenville, SC, son of James E. and Nancy C. Sims. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandson. He enjoyed cooking for any and all occasions. Keith is survived by his father James E. Sims; two daughters: Lauren B. Sims and Alicia L. Sims; one grandchild: Mikey Keller; two siblings: Pamela J. Melling (Mark, deceased) and Craig A. Sims (Beth); and nieces and nephews. James is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy C. Sims, and daughter, Megan Sims. Arrangements are made by Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services, Inc. – Summerville.
