Obituary of David William Jones

It is time for the family, friends, and neighbors to say farewell to David William Jones.  On May 31, 2018 David went to his final resting place.  David had just turned 71 on May 6^th.  His wife Jeanie and her daughter Heather (Rickie) were the first one to say goodbye at home on May 31.  He just had a warm visit with his son Michael, 23 and Daughter Stephanie, 29 and granddaughter Kaylee Dorman, 7.  Jeanie’s other children Adam Rudd and Tina Recu came to say goodbye on the evening of May 31^st in his home.  David retired from the federal government on January 3^rd, 2014 with a total of 41 years of service.  Three of those years were with the US Army. 

David’s passing was sudden and a shock to his family members – we will miss him dearly with each passing day.  We are now faced with a tremendous financial burden and would be so appreciative for any donations given to his gofundme fundraiser.

We are so very thankful to our friends and neighbors and anonymous gifts that have already been so kind to offer help to us.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Simplicity Lowcountry, North Charleston Chapel, 7475 Peppermill Parkway Suite E North Charleston.
