Obituary OF John D Linder
John David Linder (Johnny) passed away surrounded by family and friends Friday January 13, 2023, from a short battle of cancer. He was Born March 19, 1955, in Walterboro, South Carolina.
Johnny was a hard-working man that loved and cherished his family, both locally and in other countries. Johnny was survived by his wife of 21 years, Dennesa Linder; son Jon “Preston” Linder and wife Robynn of Summerville, South Carolina. Granddaughters Ella Linder, Isabell Collins, and Abigail Collins. Siblings Margie Weaver, Mark (Lisa) Linder, Marvin (Lucille) Linder, Patty (James “Chop”) Gibson, Kenny (Penny) Linder, Jimmy Linder, Daniel “Tucker” Linder. He was also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews.
Johnny was predeceased by his parents James Linder and Barbara Linder, Sister Millicent “Anne” Earnhart, and brother Larry Linder.
A celebration of life will be held sometime this spring when his brother Marvin and Lucille will be coming from Guam to help celebrate his life with burial of ashes at Hagan Cemetery in Smoaks South Carolina. For his family in Canada, we will be having a Native Ceremony in the spring when the ground thaws.
