Obituary of Hal Carter

Hal Keith Carter SR. was born January 11, 1947 in Bamberg, SC, to Clarence and Pearl Carter. He had two brothers, Ace and Dale, and one sister Julie May. When he was a child there wasn’t always a lot of food, which resulted in three freezers full of food as an adult. Hal was a hustler all about making that dollar but didn’t like to spend that dollar. He didn’t mind telling you exactly what he thought and where you could go.  Hal loved westerns and Andy Griffith, but his greatest love was his family.

Hal will now be joining his beloved wife of 33 years Brenda Jean Carter. He is survived by his brother Dale Carter and his wife Liz. His sons Hal Keith Carter Jr. (Dana), Darryl Lambert (Linda), Thomas Lambert (Anne), and Randall Lambert and his daughter Wendy Hawley (Bill).  He has 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Rest in Peace Pops.
