Obituary of Sara Walters

3/1/1942 - 10/18/2018

Born in Greenville, SC but grew up roller skating down the streets of Charleston’s Peninsula, and hanging out with friends at the Folly Pier. 

She was as beautiful as she was Spunky, and never met a stranger.  Her home was comfortable and always open to anyone in need of a bite to eat or a place to sleep - no questions asked.

Most knew her by Jenny, a nickname given, adoringly for her stubborn nature, no one can deny…

Her heart was full of song; all of her children and grands loved to hear her sing as well as sing along.  A car trip wasn’t a car trip if we weren’t singing some catchy tune.

Like her mother, she was a great story teller.  Most of her stories were about her experiences whereas her moms were fiction but both had a way of completely capturing the attention of listeners.

Her vivacious personality won her many friends, admires and loved ones who will each have a void, they will find impossible to fill.
