Obituary of Dorothy L. Saab
Dorothy “Dot” L. Saab, 80, of North Charleston, S.C., Wife of William L. Saab for 61 years, passed away peacefully at home on December 29, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on September 27, 1938 in Branchville S.C. to the late Edward Lee and Doris Mae Fickling Pace.
She was a North Charleston resident for over 60 years. Dorothy read the newspaper everyday and enjoyed her cats, flowers, birds, animal planet and game shows, sweet tea, kayaking and the outdoors.
She retired from Folbot Corporation where she worked close to 40 years as a supervisor and also headed the shipping of their product worldwide. Before that she worked at the Westvaco Bag Plant.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Edward Lamar Pace and sister Carol Annell Pace Tinsley. Survivors include her husband William L. Saab, her son William L. Saab Jr. of Summerville and son and daughter-in-law Kenneth M. Saab (Kathleen Monsalud), Sister Sarah Catherine Millen all of North Charleston, S.C. and many Nieces and Nephews.
The viewing and services will start at 2:00 pm Saturday January 5th at Simplicity Funeral Services - 7475 Peppermill Parkway Suite E, North Charleston, SC 29418 off of Ashley Phosphate Rd. Burial will follow afterwards at Carolina Memorial off Rivers Ave.

Dorothy was very well cared for by her husband William, her R.N. Gina Etheridge, her CNA Mrs. Bright (Kindred Hospice) and her dearest friend and private caregiver: (A.D.L.) Veronica Lynn Wilson of North Charleston.

Dorothy also requested for those attending her services to please dress casual. She said jeans, T-shirts, shorts and be colorful, no suits and ties needed because she was a jeans and t-shirt kind of gal.
