Obituary of Stanley W. Ashmen

Stanley Warren Ashmen, 91,of Summerville SC passed away surrounded by some of his loving family on January 5th, 2019 following a brief battle of cancer. He was born on July 1, 1927 in Camden NJ to the late James Jester and Irene Ashmen. Stanley served in the Navy during World War II on the USS ULYSSES. Stanley loved to paint and draw and was a accomplished artist. He also loved to write short stories and poetry which were enjoyed by everyone. Stanley loved the Lord Jesus Christ which was evident through his poetry. He was married to the love of his life, Kathleen McDonald Ashmen until her death in 1989. He lived life to the fullest; loved God, his family, and his country. He was loved by his late daughter Nancy Theresa Ashmen Kall. He is survived by his one son Michael P. Ashmen, daughter in law Kathleen R. Iannace Ashmen, adored grandchildren Michael S. Ashmen, Jessica K. Ashmen, Ellisa Kall Manuele, Benjamin Kall, and Noah Kall, and his very special and loved great grand children Alexander Ashmen Teat ,Nancy Pearl Manuele, and Victoria Manuele.
