Obituary of Gary Swilling

Gary L. Swilling, 64, of Walterboro, S.C. passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019. Born on November 16^th, 1954, in Lubbock Texas, he is preceded in death by his father Buster Swilling, his mother Dorothy, and a sister, Marsha.  Mr Swilling lived in Summerville, S.C., before moving to Walterboro in 2017.  A writer and activist, he traveled extensively before settling down.  Gary is survived by his sister Gina Szczepanski of Comfort TX, and brother Glenn Swilling of Summerville, S.C.  The family would like to invite family and friends to a memorial in the chapel of Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation and Burial, 281 Treeland Drive in Ladson SC on Friday, 1 March, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM.
