Obituary of Lewis Smoak

Lewis Steadman Smoak, born September 10, 1945 in Dillon, SC. died this past Thursday peacefully at home in Yonges Island. His mother was Beatrice Jackson Smoak and stepfather Ryan Lanier Smoak proceeded him in death along with First wife Sue & brother John Henry Lewellyn.He is survived by two sons David and Steadman Smoak, Junior , 3 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren. Two brothers George Smoak, and Ryan Smoak Junior,  two sisters Barbarann Lewis and Linda Cox,   2nd wife Nancy and also a special friend Demetrice Pasco ..  he retired from working with Seaboard Coast Line railroad after a long career with them.

Lewis was a lifelong hunting dog trainer, raising many champions.  He had a passion for retrievers.  He always enjoyed breakfast at Hardee's with a large group of friends.

A service will be held Monday, April 29 at 11 am at the First Baptist Church of Ravanel.
