Obituary of Dennis Earl McLain II

Dennis Earl McLain II of Moncks Corner, SC, Age 58, passed away peacefully at his home April 30, 2019. He was born January 3 in Atmore, Alabama to Dennis Sr. and Faye Tims. Dennis was a 1979 graduate of R. L. Osborne High School in Marietta, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father.  He is survived by his mother Faye; brother Jimbo (Charlene); sons Dennis III (Melissa) and Brandon (Stephanie); 4 grandchildren: Calvin, Carson, Gibson and Ava; and Fiance Sharon Valicek. Dennis enjoyed boating, traveling, riding his Harley and spending time with his grandchildren.  Dennis was a self-employed truck driver for over 30 years. Dennis was a Georgia Bulldog enthusiast.  Dennis will be fondly remembered and missed by his extended family and many loving  friends.

A celebration of life gathering will be held Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 11:00am - 1:00pm at Simplicity Lowcountry Services, 281 Treeland Dr. Ladson, SC 29456. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF).
