Obituary of Rodney Middleton

Rodney William Middleton, 49, was tragically taken from his beloved wife, family and many friends on May 1^st.  He and is wife Carrie have been married for more than twenty years. Rodney, a heavy equipment driver, was born to Kenneth Middleton and Carol Wilson in July 1969 in Charleston SC. He enjoyed working on engines and restoring old trucks. Rodney loved his furry felines, and he and his wife had more than 19 in their home. Family members include Kenny and Barbara Middleton of North Charleston; Greg and Pam Middleton of Mount Pleasant; and Judy and Rob Koch of Peterborough, NH. He is also survived by a number of cousins and other relatives located in South Carolina and many places around the country. Rodney was known and loved by many, and several of his colleagues and friends have shared fond memories of this bigger than life gentle giant.  A memorial service/visitation will be at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services. 281 Treeland Drive, Ladson, SC on Tuesday, May 7th from 3 to 6 pm.
