Obituary of John Schoenstein

John Schoenstein, age 90, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2019. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, June, his daughter, Gail, his son-in-law Paul, his son Gary, and his daughter-in-law, Ann. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Adam, Laura, Kyle, and Jennifer, and four great grandchildren, Julia, Cassidy, Shannon, and Claire. John was born in Queens, New York and served in the United States Navy. He spent his entire 37 year career with the New York Telephone Company. After his retirement, June and John moved to Toms River, New Jersey, where they lived for 32 years. While in New Jersey, John was an active member of the first aid squad, and he enjoyed bowling and bocce.
