Obituary of Elizabeth Broughton

Elizabeth Broughton, 58, passed peacefully in her home on May 17, 2019.

Elizabeth was born December 19, 1960 in Charleston, SC, to the late Edward Patrick Shearn & Helen Linda Stevens. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy D Broughton, Sr; sons, Jimmy D. Broughton, Jr and Jeremy L. Shuler; daughter, Cynthia Rickborn. She had 3 brothers, 5 sisters, & 11 grandchildren.

Elizabeth worked at White Oak Manor as a nurses aid for many years, before becoming a stay at home caretaker for the last 25 years; where she aided many family members in their time of sickness and need. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and frien.

Services will be held Sat. May 25, 2019 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services (281 Treeland Dr, Ladson SC 29456.)
