Obituary of William Benjamin Thompson

William Benjamin Thompson passed away Sunday morning, June 30, 2013 from an automobile accident. A memorial service will be held on July 8, 2013 at 11:30AM at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services, 7475 Peppermill Parkway, Suite E, North Charleston, SC. Mr. Thompson was born in Walterboro, South Carolina on November 10, 1947 to Haskell Gary Thompson, Sr. and Emma Corinne Jones Thompson. He leaves a family of two adopted stepchildren, Stacy Christen Williams and Brett Edward Thompson, and three daughters, Katey Corinne Thompson-Brown, Sara Claire Thompson and Hayley Anna Thompson. He is survived by his mother, his sister Patricia Black Eaton and his brother Gary Haskell (Hack) Thompson, Jr. His niece and nephews include, Anne Edison, Greg Black, Gary H. Thompson, III, Andrew H. Thompson and Forrest Craig Thompson. He was retired and lived in Hardeeville, South Carolina. Arrangements are by Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services.
