Obituary of John Michael Eckert

John Michael Eckert, 64, of Goose Creek SC, passed away Thursday afternoon, October 3, 2019. Born on August 31,1955, son of the late Wayne and Betty Eckert and brother of the late Richard Eckert, all of Goose Creek. He graduated from Goose Creek High School. Mike was very kind and giving to others, and had a great sense of humor.  Mike loved his lord, sports, music, family, friends, food and his dogs. He loved to feed people and was known to many as "Snack".  Mike is survived by his brother, Wayne Eckert; his sisters-in-law, Kelly and Christy Eckert; nephews, Gene and Richard Eckert, Jr.; niece, Amy Bertram; great nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs, Michelle and Millie.

A memorial service will be held Friday October 11th at 12:00 PM at Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services (281 Treeland Dr., Suite C, Ladson, SC 29456).
