Obituary of Judith Ann Patrick

Judith Ann Patrick “Judy”, 77, of Goose Creek passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019. Judy was born June 8, 1942 to the late Harry, Sr. and Bessy Elizabeth Johnson. She grew up in Penns Grove, NJ before making a home in South Carolina.

Judy was the happiest person ever, and could always be found with a smile on her face. She was an example to all of how to take life in stride and always smile no matter what challenges you may be facing. Her presence would brighten the room. She loved to be mischievous and those who knew her well knew never dare her to do something because she definitely would do it. Judy was blessed with artistic talent, including her artful words and expressions like “cheese and crackers” and “oh you little...”. Judy was a selfless person who opened her home, acting as one of the caregivers to her younger siblings when needed. She would tell you her life was her family and she loved her children and grandchildren more than life itself.

Judy was predeceased by her parents, Harry, Sr. and Bessy, brother Lee Bowman, son Michail Patrick and grandson Eddie.

She is survived by her children Carl Patrick, Jr. (Lisa), Charity Christner (Ed), and Christoper Patrick (Jeanie), her grandchildren Jessika, Sean, Laura, Stephen, Zach, and Brianne, 4 great grandchildren and blessing on the way. She is also survived by her siblings Bette Packard (Wes), Lillian Gareis (Louis), Harry Johnson, Jr. (Mary), Charles Johnson (Sue), and Missy Perry (Richard) and several nieces and nephews.

Judy attended Salem Baptist Church in Summerville where a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 2:00 pm.

Flowers may be sent to Salem Baptist Church at 321 Old Summerville Rd, Summerville, SC 29483.
