Obituary of George Joseph Huber, III

George Joseph Huber, III, 89, of Summerville, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019.

Known by friends and co-workers as “Hubie,” he served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean conflict and was a master tile setter his entire career in the family business, George J. Huber and Sons. He also loved to hunt and fish, and spend time with his family on Lake Pymatuning, and later in life on Lake Marion.

The son of the late Margaret and George J. Huber, Jr., he is also predeceased by his grandson Wesley Adam Lewis and son-in-law Mark Lewis, his sister Dolores Hugus and his brother William Huber all of Pittsburgh, Pa. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Margaret Teresa Adamkovic; his four daughters, Donna Gottschalk, Mary Lewis, Elizabeth Ann Tobul and Christine Huber; his five grandchildren, Kelly Woessner (William), James Tobul (Prairie), Sean Tobul, Stephanie Kerchner (Michael) and Megan Gottschalk; and his two great-grandchildren, William and Allie Woessner. In addition, he is survived by his brother Fred (Lillian) Huber and a host of nieces and nephews.
