Obituary of Eugene Burns, Jr.

Eugene H. Burns Jr. (Gene) quietly passed away at his home in North Charleston S.C. on December 7 at the age of 79.

A ceremony to honor his memory will be held on Thursday, December 12 from 10 AM to 12 noon.

A gathering of family and friends from 10:00 to 11:00 followed by a memorial service at Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services in Summerville located at 281 Treeland Drive, Ladson, SC 29456.

He was born on August 25, 1940 in Charleston South Carolina to Eugene and Irene Burns. He was a retired general contractor in the low country area. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Danny Burns and grandson Patrick. He is survived by his wife Mary H. Burns, son Eugene H. Burns 111 (Alesia), Brother Nicholas J. Burns (Deanna), sister Daisy C. Lee (Homer), step children Angela, Russell, Randy, Rick, Rob along with Nieces, Melanie, Rebecca, Donna and nephew Jud. Grandchildren and great grandchildren.
