On January 13, 2020, Alma “Polly” Ernestine (Jarrell) Ingram, from Ladson, SC, passed away at the age of 75 in Summerville, SC. She was born in Lundale, WV on April 21, 1944 to the late Robert and Sarah Launa (Schultz) Jarrell. Alma enjoyed playing bingo, cooking Sunday dinners for her family, playing Euchre, and more than anything spending time with all her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be remembered for her tenacious, stubborn will and love for everyone. She is survived by her two children, Reverend Michael (Robyn) Jarrell of McCordsville, IN; and Kimberly Thompson of Ladson, SC; Seven grandchildren, Jessica (Larry) Haag of Lawrence, IN, Michael Jarrell, II of Indianapolis, IN, Timothy Forsyth of McCordsville, IN, Madyson Jarrell of McCordsville, IN, Hayes Thompson of Goose Creek, SC, Gryce Simmons of Fort Mill, SC, and Cayse Thompson of Ladson, SC; four great grandchildren, Mila Forsyth, Flynn Thompson, Rayleigh Thompson, and Emmalynne Haag; sister, Edna Mae Mullins of Huntington, WV; brothers, Ernest “Sweeney” Lee (Teresa) Jarrell of Pace, FL, Douglas Jackson “Jack” (Sue) Jarrell of Barboursville, WV; along with a host of nieces and nephews who adored her. She was preceded in her death by her parents Robert and Sarah Launa (Schultz) Jarrell; her brother Larry Dale Jarrell; her beloved spouse of over 43 years Dale Eugene Ingram. Graveside funeral services will be in Chapmanville, WV at the Jarrell Family Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, make donations to the National Kidney Foundation.
