Obituary of Betty Jean Hutzler

Mrs. Betty Jean Hutzler, 79, wife of Harold Hutzler, of Bonneau, SC, passed away Friday, January 24th, 2020.   She was born to the late Edgar and Eugenia (Laird) Ferguson, of Allendale, SC on August 15, 1940.
Betty was a member of Bonneau Baptist Church.  She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by son, William E. "Bill" Creech, of St. George; daughters, Jean Creech Reeves (Bubba), of Dorchester, SC and Lisa Creech Corbett, of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Kristen Kizer (Eddie), of Harleyville, SC, Jennifer Crosby, of Brunswick, GA, B.J. Creech (Hope), of Summerville, SC, Chelsey Richardson (Stephen), of Greenville, SC, and Kevin Reeves (Molly), of Harleyville, SC; eleven great-grandchildren; and brother, John W. Ferguson (Geraldine), of Grover, SC.
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her sister, Laurie Taylor; brothers, Pee Wee Ferguson and Robert Ferguson; and granddaughter, Karen Jean Reeves.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st. at 11:00 AM, at Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services (281 Treeland Drive, Ladson, SC 29456).  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow at Harleyville Cemetery (South Railroad Ave, Harleyville, SC 29448).
