Obituary of Denise Gruszczinski
Denise was a amazing person to So many people. She was a wonderful Mom to Patrick Pullum and Fur mom to Charlie Pullum. She was so awesome that she adopted her sister Dana when she was just 23 years old and raised her as if she was her child. She was the light and center of our family and taught us so many things. She was a loving sister to both Paul and Debbie Gruszczinski.
She had 15 years in government service to include the US Army and United States Postal Service. In December of 2016 she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, she fought hard and was a true example of a warrior. It is sad how much cancer can take from us. She was infectious person and everyone that she met loved her from the first moment. She loved animals, any kinds and their treatment was important to her. She also loved helping people especially ones in her predicament, she wanted everyone to win the battle. My sister, my Mom, My hero and best friend in the world was still fighting til the very end and didn’t want to leave this earth. God has bigger plans for Sissy and she will always be in our hearts.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 12-1pm, Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial - North Charleston location, 7475 Peppermill Parkway, Suite E, North Charleston.
In lieu of flowers please donate in Denise‘s honor to the Roper St Francis Foundation so others can get the treatment they need.
