Obituary of Rosa Griffon Crosby

Mrs. Rosa Griffon Crosby, 79, of Goose Creek, SC, went home to Jesus on May 3rd, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Emory and Thelma Bullman. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Goose Creek and retired as a kindergarten teacher for 50 years. Rosa lived her life ministering to others and will be remembered for her servants heart, her love of flowers, and how much she loved the Lord and her family. She was preceded in death by the two loves of her life, Reverend Henry C. Griffon and Oscar L. Crosby. She is survived by her children, Leona Mixson (Larry), Jamie Griffon (Melissa), Sandy Mims (Robert), and Beth Byers (Mike); sisters, Dora McDevitt, Jo McDevitt, Mary Jane Griffith, and Frances Hickman; brother, Charles Bullman; 9 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held at First Baptist Church of Goose Creek, on May 6th. The family will receive friends from 2:30 – 3:30 and the service will begin at 3:30. A private burial will be held in Williston, SC, at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services.
