Oswald Arundel Morgan

Oswald Morgan was born in Clarendon, Jamaica on June 18, 1934 to Isaiah and Celestine Morgan.  

Oswald lived in Rosewell, Clarendon where he attended school and spent most of his life.  In 1989 He immigrated to the United States, and settled with his family in North Charleston South Carolina.   Mr. Morgan was a devoted member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church both in Jamaica and Charleston.  In Charleston, he attended the Shiloh SDA Church where he served as an elder as well as other church offices.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lurline, children; Edric (Maureen), Icilda, Beverly, Albert (Paulette), Deanne, Trevor (Caroline), Marie, Oswald. Jr. (Tara), Oral (Carlene), Kaydian, and Ricardo, siblings; Mavis, Joyce, Ellen, Wilston, and Lurlene, 20 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other relative and friends.

Oswald died peacefully on May 16, 2020 surrounded by family.   To commemorate the life of Oswald Morgan, a private memorial will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2020.
