Obituary of Eva WandaLee Jones
Eva Wandalee Jones entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 8 after spending time with each of her family members. She was born in Arkansas. As the wife of Naval Chief Petty Officer, she and her family lived in various places, finally settling in SC.
She worked hard as a waitress and obtained a position at the Charleston Naval Shipyard canteen, happily serving the employees there until her retirement.
She loved spending time with family. She loved Christmas, it was her favorite time of the year. She also loved planning family picnics and traveling to the mountains. She loved turquoise jewelry and the color purple.
She is predeceased by her beloved great-grandson, Johnathan Jones and her sister, Terry Daniels.
She is survived by her two sisters, Maxine and Faye, her four sons, Darrell Jones (Virene), Rex Jones (Cheryl), Michael Jones and Mitch Jones (Babs).
She is also survived by Eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and one on the way.
The family is thankful for her hospice, caregivers, Pastor Marshall, and support from family and friends. Your words of comfort mean so much to us. The family will have a private service, celebrating her life in the NC mountains at a later date.
No flowers, please.
