Richard Dennis Welch, Sr.

Richard Dennis Welch, Sr., 71, of Moncks Corner, SC passed away July 10, 2020.

 Dennis was born in Charleston, SC and was the son of the late Richmond Welch and Alice Risher Eads Siegel.

 

He was a retired 1st SGT of the SC Highway Patrol.  He was also a member of the Street Rods Unlimited.   

 

Survivors include: son, Richard Welch of St. Matthews, daughter, Michelle (Tim) Steadman of Cameron;

brother, Allen Welch of Moncks Corner;

grandchildren, Alex Steadman, Paige Steadman, Kristen Steadman and Morgan Welch; nephews, Ricky Welch and Cale Lang.

 

A private service will be held at a later date with family.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to MUSC Children's Hospital (giving.musc.edu) or charity of your choice.
