Obituary of Aloysius William Jones Jr.

Aloysius W. Jones Jr, 82, of Goose Creek, SC passed away Sunday, July 19,

2020 at home.

"Al" was born in Pennsylvania in 1938 to Aloysius William Jones Sr and Violet Gough.  In 1957 he married Sarah (Sally) Grayston, the love of his life.  They were married over 62 years.

Al was in the National Guard for 2 years and the Air Force for 29 years.

After his retirement, he owned the Package Depot & Copy Shop for a number of years.  He retired from the North Charleston Police Department where he worked in admin.

He is survived by his wife, Sally, of Goose Creek, SC.  Three children, Sharon Webster (Allen), Theresa Adams and Aloysius W. Jones III (Rose).  He had 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the providers and staff of Roper/St. Francis Hospice for their utmost professionalism and caring throughout his ordeal.

He was loved very much and will be missed greatly.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the Alzheimer's Research and Prevention Foundation.
