Obituary of Fred Richardson

Fred (Freddie) Richardson, son of the late Obbie Richardson and Nancy Ravanel was born on August 25, 1935 in Jacksonville,Florida. On Thursday March 1, 2018 the Lord called him from his present residence to dwell with him in his final resting place. Fred graduated from Summerville High School. He left home at the tender age of 18 where he explored the United States.He had various trades from driving truck from State to State, painting, carpentry and landscaping. He was predeceased by his sister Peggy Johnson and brother Edward Lee Wiggins. Fred is survived by his estranged wife Evelyn Magwood and daughter Deborah A. Richardson Middleton both of Charleston. He leaves to mourn his passing, his sister’s Jessie Lee Bonaparte of Detroit, Michigan, Dora Lee Brown (Ronald) of New York, his brothers Isaac Richardson (Catherine) of Summerville S.C.and David Lee Wiggins of Omaha, Ne. A special niece/care giver Jacqueline Wiggins Capers (Garfield ) of North Charleston. A host of nephews, nieces, grands, cousins and friends. A special thanks to the staff at Riverside Health & Rehab, Greater St. James A.M.E Church and staff at Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services, Inc. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at St. James AME Church (1831 Jedburg Road, Summerville) with burial immediately following. Services are provided by Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services, Inc. – Summerville.
