Obituary of Thomas M. Veneziano

     Thomas M Veneziano (Tom) USN Retired, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2021 at his home in Ladson, SC after a battle with Alzheimer’s. He was born in Ridgway, Pa on September 19^th, 1937.

     Tom was married to Marjorie Sue Bush for 63 years.  He was an amazing father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.

     Tom served 22 years in the United States Navy. He had 3 children, James Michael Veneziano (Julie) Joseph Veneziano, (Kim), and Judith Parsons.   Tom had 6 grandchildren, Andy Veneziano, Laura Raefski (William Espinoza), Anthony Raefski, Aaron Veneziano, Ariel Veneziano and Tristan Veneziano.  He also had 5 great grandchildren, Lexi, Evan, Aidan, Jamison and Jianna. 

     Tom is also survived by his sister Suzanne Scaduto (John) and his two brothers Barney Veneziano and Jimmy Veneziano, his Sister in Laws Linda Spencer (Richard) and Judy Osborn (Lary), along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Susan Veneziano, and his sisters Christine Courson and Angela Aymong, as well as his grandson, Anthony Raefski.

     Tom was very active in his church, Bethany UMC in Summerville, SC.  He loved to volunteer and enjoyed his time serving others at the Charleston Air Force Base, Fields to Families and Meals on Wheels.

     Tom loved God, his Family and his Country and he will be sorely missed.

     A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
