Obituary of Sandra Lee Maxwell

Sandra Lee Maxwell, on Saturday, February 20, 2021 exchanged this life for a more beautiful life with her savior, Jesus Christ. When you see the morning doves flying, think of her. The beautiful blissful peace she is now experiencing, free of all pain and anxiety.

She was born 63 years ago, as the second child to William (Bill) H. and Betty K Maxwell (both predeceasing her). She loved life, always wanting lots of people and animals with her. Her favorite animals were cats and anything wild things. She could often be found feeding and catching strays. Many became her pets and others just got daily attention.

She was a graduate of James Island High, Trident and MUSC. She worked as a dental assistant with several local office and MUSC before going on disability.

A lifelong friend, David B Wilkinson, predeceased her 9 years ago. Together they had a beautiful daughter, Melissa J. Wilkinson, who they loved together unconditionally. Also surviving is a grandson, Rylye N Wilkinson, who brought great joy with his smiles to his grand moma. Sandra’s memory will also be kept alive by her only sister, Marilyn M Halavonich and nieces – Lauren and Lindsey.

The family wants to give special thanks to all Sandra’s friends who were with her on her life’s journey. Especial thanks to Kenny, who took care of her cherishing and loving her dearly.
