Obituary of Tammy Grooms

Frances “Tammy” Joyce Grooms, 54, of Summerville, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021.

The relatives and friends of Mrs. Tammy Grooms are invited to attend her Funeral Service at the graveside at Summerville Cemetery, in Summerville. A viewing will be held from 1-1:30pm at Simplicity Funeral Home in Ladson with the graveside service to immediately follow and expected to start no later than 2:30pm.

Tammy was born in Moncks Corner, South Carolina on June 11, 1966. Daughter of the late Margaret Grooms and late Tommy Mizell. A homemaker, wife, mother, nana, sister, aunt and beloved friend to many.
She is survived by her husband Ronald Wright, sons Tommy Wright (Cheyenne) and Ronald Wright (Kristin), daughters Brenda Nowack (Danny), and Tonya Davis (Joey), sister Peggy Grooms (Mikey), grandchildren, Alexis, Gage, Tommy Jr. Trenton, Skylar, Leighann, Baylee, Caroline, Andrew, and Faylynn. Niece, Serena Hernandez (Joseph), Nephews, Paul Thigpen (Amber), and Joshua Grooms.

She is preceded in death by her brothers Michael Williams, Michael Moore and Paul Meads, granddaughter Angel Wright and great nephew Trevor Beltz.
