Obituary of Scott Eugene Danque

Scott Eugene Danque, 60, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021 at his home in Ladson,SC.

He was born in Orlando, FL on February 7, 1961 to the late Marcena Cramer Danque and Eugenia Beacham Danque. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother David Danque.

Scott is survived by his daughter, Amanda Caldwell and husband Brad, with granddaughters Penelope and Magnolia; son, Brian Danque and wife Jeanna, with grandson Charles; brother Marc Danque and wife Debbie; brother Larry Danque and wife Keisha; sister-in-law Cindy Danque; and many nieces and nephews. 

Scott graduated from Orange Park High School in 1979. He then served in the US Airforce until 1985. Scott was a proud father and grandfather who was gifted with many talents and skill sets. He loved talking about the projects that he was working on and explaining the challenges and processes in great detail. He loved telling stories of working at Kennedy Space Center on the shuttle and of the jets he worked on in the Airforce. He worked for many large manufacturing companies maintaining machines over his years, always fixing something. He loved fishing, golfing, and exploring the mountains. Scott will truly be missed by his friends and family. 

A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held on Monday June 28, 2021 from 3-4p at Simplicity:Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services 281 Treeland Dr, Ladson, SC.
