Obituary of Paul K. Evenstad

Paul K. Evenstad aged 92 has passed away at Hilton Head Island South Carolina on June 19, 2021. Paul is survived by his wife of 67 years, Virginia Elder Evenstad. He is also survived by his daughter Robin E. Reever (Michael) of Bluffton, SC and son John P. Evenstad (Jan) of Littleton, CO as well as granddaughters Paula Reever Zorensky and Christine Reever of Washington DC, sister Sonia Evenstad of Evanston, IL and brother Ramon Evenstad of Orange, FL. Paul, known as Bud, was born in Great Falls, MT on Christmas Day 1928.

Bud spent his working life in Charlotte and Chicago ending his career as the Corporate Secretary for USG. His retirement years were spent at Fords Colony in Williamsburg, VA where Bud and Jinny were actively involved with the Travel Club, organizing trips often involving American historical places and events. Bud, a graduate of Northwestern University was an avid tennis player until his late 80’s, loved doing his daily “evil” Sudoku puzzles, competing at Trivia, and hosting family and friends at their home.
