Obituary of Michael John Sharpe

Michael John Sharpe, 57, of Summerville SC, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021 after a long battle with cancer.

Services will be held Thursday July 15, 2021. Visitation will be from 11am to 12pm, followed by a memorial service 12-1pm at Simplicity, Low Country Funeral Home, 281 Treeland Drive, Suite C, Ladson, SC 29456

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Leigh Sharpe; two sons, Michael S Sharpe and Wayne Chapman (Trina); a daughter Nicole Chapman; three grandchildren, Chloe Smalarz, Paxton Chapman and Addison Chapman; his parents, Arthur and Patricia Sharpe; four siblings, Arthur Sharpe, John Sharpe, Theresa Johnson and Christina Gangl and several nieces nephews.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Kevin Johnson who brought spiritual comfort to Michael in his last days.

Michael grew up in Syracuse, NY. He graduated from Cicero High School in 1983. He relocated with his wife and son, Michael to South Carolina in 2008. He worked at Boeing in Charleston and was proud to share stories about his day with family and friends.
