Mark, Erik and Kara,
Gillian and I want to send or deepest condolences during this sad time. Thank you for sharing your brother with us for all these years. Kent was quite a character who was always willing to help a neighbor or a stranger in need. He had a big heart and often talked of family in RI and shared many stories with us at his favorite place, next to his fire pit where he could be found on most days. He was the unofficial greeter at Coffin Point who waved at everyone that passed by. He always delighted in telling his story of visiting England and was in a pub and someone looked at him and said “Shewring I suppose” with a bad English accent. He was always delighted that the Patriots always had a “Vich” on the team. He told us of his mountain conquering throughout the world, at least a few times. He was a champion to any lost souls, man or beast and hosted many friends and animals over the years. He loved his dog Lucky and cat Blue with all his heart, he rescued both of them. He was quick witted and jumped at the chance to expound on any topic. He loved his family, and spoke often of his Mother and Father dearly. He could be rough around the edges, and called everyone “Buddy Boy” but his big heart always shined through. Mostly, he was our friend and we all loved him. God has gotten many prayers for him and you all these last few days. May he Rest In Peace now and forever.
