Obituary of Eddie Eugene Fortson

Eddie Eugene Fortson, 69, a dedicated and loving father and retired Air Force Technical Sergeant , died Wednesday, January 12, 2022. Preceded in death by his father and mother, Franklin & Helen and his brother, Charlie Fortson. Survived by his sister Vickie, wife Nancy, three loving daughters, Rebecca (Steven) Moore, Jennifer (Joseph) Cammarota, and Amanda Smith, and his loving grandchildren Katherine, Elizabeth, & Connor Moore, Ariane and Joseph Cammarota and Hunter Smith. He also had a large extended family of loved ones and “adopted” children. A memorial is being planned in Greenwood, SC for the early Summer 2022.
