Obituary of Leon David Florence, Jr

Leon David Florence Jr, 65, of Goose Creek, SC entered into eternal rest on Friday Jan 21st, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones. Leon was born in Washington, GA, He is the son of the late Leon Sr and June Colvin Florence. He retired from Carta, where he served the community as a city bus driver. He enjoyed fishing, cooking on the grill and watching football, most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He proudly served in the USMC. 

Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Sandra, 3 children, Justin (Allison), Jacob (Nicki) and Tiffany. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren Katelyn, Noah, Emerson, Charlotte, Lexie and Caleb. 

A Memorial will be conducted at Simplicity Funeral Home in North Charleston on January 25, 2022. Family will accept guests at 11am with service held at 12 noon.
