Obituary of Sheila Jean Martin

Sheila Jean Martin of Ladson, South Carolina entered into eternal rest on Sunday January 30, 2022. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. Visitation will be Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 1:00 pm with service at 2:00 pm at the Summerville Church of God, 304 North Pine Street, Summerville, South Carolina. The Reverend Gene Lisenby will be officiating. Sheila was a military spouse, homemaker, and mother to her children while they were growing up. Additionally, she was a salesperson at Fred’s, attended Summerville Church of God, and coached cheerleading at the Ladson Youth Organization. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvis Reno Smith, Charles Herman Smith; two sisters, Martha (Walter) Winningham, and Brenda Mellard; one brother Charles (Wanda) Smith. She is survived by a daughter Jenisus (Dr. John P.) Shealey of Corydon, Iowa; a son, Ronnie (Teair) Martin of Goose Creek, South Carolina; Grandchildren, Savannah Pardue of Corydon, Iowa, Peyton Shealey of Monticello, Florida, Jordan Martin, Alice, Taylor, Caidin, and Bryden of Goose Creek, South Carolina; sisters, Sandra Greenhill, Ann Smith (Ben) Harmon of Summerville, South Carolina, Deborah Smith of Ladson, South Carolina, and Glenda (Tony) Barnes of Bishopville, South Carolina and many Nieces, Nephews, Great-Nieces, and Great- Nephews. She is loved and will be deeply missed by us all.
