Obituary of Julie Ann Godwin

Julie Ann Godwin entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 4, 2022, at her residence in Cottageville, SC.  Julie was born September 25, 1966, in Charleston, SC.  She was the daughter of Sandra and Edward.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce Godwin, her daughter Tracy (David) Boulware, and her sons Robert (Kayla) Boulware, Todd Godwin, and Eric (Stephanie) Godwin.  She leaves her mother Sandra Morgan, and siblings Eddie (Mary) Taylor, Janet (Lee) Johnson, and Sean (Courtney) Morgan.  She leaves 7 wonderful grandchildren: Tyler, Lily, Nyla, Aidan, Brady, Alex, and Abigayle.  She leaves her niece, Katie (Craig), her nephews Patrick (Katie Scarlett), Zack, Joshua and Jace.  She was predeceased by her father, Edward, her daughter, Jennifer, and grandson, Devyn.

She loved her family dearly and her grandchildren were her whole world.  She made sure they knew how much she loved them.  She loved all of her friends and co-workers at Westbury’s Hardware.  She loved helping people and making people smile.  She knew when someone needed to smile and was always looking for ways to make their day.  She will be missed dearly by everyone, especially her family and friends.  Netta Atkins was her best friend and was there with her until the end.

Her service will be at Goose Creek United Methodist Church on Friday, March 11, 2022.  Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. and service will be at 3 p.m.  The address is 142 Red Bank Rd Goose Creek, SC 29445.  Flowers can be sent to the church.
