You climbed the staircase to heaven with angels on both of your shoulders. You have seen the face of our Christ. Your pain is no more. Rest in peace Paul.

Paul,
Although we never met we fought together in Vietnam. I also joined the USMC in 1967 and after Boot Camp I went straight to Vietnam and became part of 2/4 "The Magnificent Bastards." Thank-you for being there as you saved my life and the lives of all "Bastards" we couldn't kill them but with your courage and skill you were there when we needed you most.
Semper Fi Marine. God Bless.

On behalf of the Second Battalion Fourth Marines Association, we send our most heartfelt prayers to the family of Paul.
Paul fought the most difficult battle of all with his health but was a true war hero on the battlefield as well.
Thank you for guarding heavens gates until we call come home.

My Uncle Paul was a great man! He was always there to listen when you needed an ear. He was a great story teller and loved his family. I remember as a child he sent me my first Bruce Lee shirt before there were such things. He mailed it from California and addressed it to Mstr Joseph Goad, I had that T-shirt for years even after I grew out of it! Lol
He was a great man, although we have grown apart over the years, he always held a special place in my heart!
