Obituary of Arnold Snipes

Arnold Snipes passed away Sunday March 20th, 2022. He was the husband of Karen Snipes. They shared 37 years of marriage together. Their son Brian Lee Snipes predeceased his father.

Arnold was born September 24th, 1964 in Charleston, SC where he was born and raised and loved the country life. He went to Goose Creek High School. He enjoyed camping in the Great Smokies and his dogs. In his younger years he had a sheetrock crew in which he hung sheetrock and in his later years he worked at BP Chemical as an industrial firefighter among other job duties which he very much enjoyed and was proud of.

He is survived by his wife Karen Snipes, his mother-in-law Irene Pruett, his father Elsie Snipes, his sister Theresa June Cotter, his brother-in-law Kenny Hoffa, his nephew’s and niece’s, his aunt’s and uncles’, his cousins and numerous other family members who all loved him and will miss him greatly. He is predeceased by his son Brian Lee Snipes, his mother Jackie Snipes and his sister Jean Hoffa.

The memorial service will be held on March 24th, 2022, with visitation starting at 1:00 and the funeral at 2:00 at Simplicity funeral home 281 Treeland Dr. Ladson, SC 29456. Then following gravesite at Dorchester Memorial Gardens 11000 Dorchester Rd. Summerville, SC 29485.
