Obituary of Amanda Stafford
Amanda Stafford (also known as Dee Dee) died unexpectedly as a result of COVID-19 and pneumonia at MUSC located in downtown Charleston on February 27, 2022.
Dee Dee is survived by her father, Scott Haskell; her children, Fallon and Perry Jr; her sisters, Jennifer (Johnnie) Tyrrell, Deborah (Mel) Hart, and Cindy (Greg) Green; and her brothers, Harry Haskel III and Henry Haskell. She is predeceased by her Great Aunt Inez Dawsey (2015).
Amanda was born November 5, 1964. She attended St. Johns High School on Johns Island and was a life-long resident of Charleston. She was a full-time home-maker, devoted mother, and loved the beach. She volunteered as a score keeper for Lowcountry Little League baseball and served as the Team Mom for her son, Perry’s baseball team. In later years Amanda worked for BMW Automotive in West Ashley. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held at 6pm, Monday, March 28,2022 at Stono Baptist Church on Johns Island. Flowers are being provided by Creech’s Florist.
