Obituary of Patricia Langston (Morris) Gatch

Mrs. Patricia Langston (Morris) Gatch, of Charleston, SC, born on February 1, 1949 in Alva, Kentucky, to the late Juanita (Elliott) Morris and the late Stoney Morris, passed away at age 69 on September 11, 2018. Patricia grew up in the City of Charleston & attended Sacred Heart Catholic School on King Street. She was a homemaker.

 

She was the wife of the late Stuart Langston; former wife of the late Howard Lee Gatch Jr. She was preceded in death by her son, William Earl Gatch; and brothers, Phillip Morris and Robert Morris Sr. Patricia is survived by her son, Howard Lee Gatch III; brothers, John Morris Sr. and Tommy Morris; and sisters, Betty Osborne, Linda Wilson, Teresa McCabe, Grandchildren Karl Ilich Gatch, Ryan Barry Gatch, Tallon Lee Gatch, & Mason William Gatch, and an abundance of loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.

 

She had a passion for reading, traveling, & computer games. She was a 35 year member at World Harvest Church.

 

Friends and family can pay their respects at the visitation on Friday, September 21 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. followed by the funeral service on Saturday, September 22 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at World Harvest Church 3441 West Montague Avenue, North Charleston, SC officiated by Reverend Tom Clayton. Interment will be at Magnolia Cemetery in Downtown Charleston. Arrangements are being handled by Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services.
