Obituary of William (Bill) Hamilton Milner

William Hamilton Milner died June 25, 2022.
Bill was born May 8, 1930 in Knoxville, TN son of Jennie Rose Hamilton of Knoxville and William Woodward Milner of Hattiesburg, MS.
He was a member of First Presbyterian Church-Charlotte since 1947.  He graduated Central High School in 1948 and attended Ole Miss and Charlotte College.  He was founder and owner of
Milner Air Conditioning and retired in 1998.
Bill was married to Dabney Stuart Murray and became parents of Sharon Holliday Milner, Nancy Hamilton Milner and Stuart Murray Milner.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Betty) Milner, his children, Holli and David Hargett, Nancy and Bert Brimberry and Stuart and Juliana Milner and seven grandchildren, Benjamin George Hargett, Halbert Butner Brimberry III, Frank Murray Milner, Stuart Brittain Milner, Sarah Elizabeth Hargett, Anna Hamilton Brimberry and Catherine Carson Milner.  Surviving are three great grandchildren Amanda Milner, Thomas and Edith Milner and Darby Hargett.
He was preceded by his parents, his sister Katherine Milner Black, grandson William Samuel Hargett, daughter-in-law Barbara Brittain Milner and special aunt Evelyn Hamilton Holliday.

Memorial service will be held on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 11:00 at Sunrise Presbyterian Church, 3222 Middle St. Sullivans Island, SC. conducted by minister, Vance Polley.
